I had a good time recently out in HDG, I wanted to get out on a nicer day before everything had thawed.
Plenty of mallards and other ducks, canadian geese, and a few herons standing out on small chunks of ice.
Even came across a few new birds (to me), this hooded merganser and coot.
Also had a good time chatting with the locals while I was out. I always have a good time walking along the water and this day was no different.
